ESS is proud to offer one of the most comprehensive line of American Flooded and OPz Battery Racks in the market. We offer a wide variety of seismically certified and non-seismic rack configurations that are designed to meet the customer's space and power requirements. Our Flooded Cell Battery Racks are designed to house ALL Major Brands and Models of flooded cell batteries including OPz batteries. In addition, ESS has simplified the selection of our racks by providing an Automated Rack Selector to the customer. Simply fill out a few prompts and the Rack Selector will suggest the rack models designed for the specific requirements that have been entered.
- Racks are designed individually to house ALL Major Manufacturers of Flooded and OPz Battery models.
- Seismic certified racks are certified to IBC (2006) referencing ASCE 7 Cabinets meet default Seismic Design Category D (Ss=2.25) with an Importance Factor of 1.5 and analyzed to an acceleration of .68g
- Standard configurations include 1-Tier, 2-Tier, 3-Tier, 2-Step, 2-Step/2-Tier, 2-Row and 2-Row/2-Tier up to 20 Feet in length
- Customer lengths are available upon requests.
- Battery rails are covered with flame retardant HDPE covers.
- Rack design makes installation fast and simple.
- Racks are powder coated with acid resistant ray powder coat.
- Frames are fabricated out of heavy gauge welded steel.
- Grounding provisions are provided in every frame.
- Spill containment options are available in standard and custom sizes.
