ESS offers a full line of Battery Cabinets with top and front terminal access. Cabinets are available in a large array of sizes and colors to fit your specific needs. ESS manufactures every component of our Battery Cabinets in-house, controlling quality from the initial design through final assembly.

General Information

• All standard cabinet assemblies are UL 1778 listed and assembled at the factory.
• Fast lead times on many standard cabinet models.
• Seismic certified cabinets are certified to IBC (2012), ASCE 7 (2010) and CBC (2010).  Cabinets meet default Seismic Design Category D (Ss=2.9) with an Importance Factor of 1.5. and analyzed to an acceleration of .817g.
• OSPHD Certificated Cabinets Available.
• NEBS and California Seismic Certifications available.
• Standard cabinets include 100 to 3800V Hi-POT Testing.
• DC Circuit Breakers from 30Amp to 2000Amp with UVR, Shunt Trip, auxiliary contacts
• UL listed 125 degree high flex cable used for higher Amp rating
• Cabinet configurations for 120v/240v/288v/360v/384v/432v/480v/492v battery strings.
• Indoor cabinets manufactured from heavy gauge metal
• Outdoor cabinets made of aluminum, steel, stainless steel, galvanized, or EG
• Battery cabinets are powder coated with a corrosion resistant powder using our standard five stage emersion pretreatment process.
• Custom designed pallets for shipping anywhere, locally or globally
• Batteries secured with non-conductive strapping for safe transit
